1) Australia and Singapore banned all Boeing 737 Max 8 planes from their airspaces on Tuesday, two days after 157 people were killed on such a plane during a flight from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, to Nairobi, Kenya. • Boeing stands by the airworthiness of the plane but said that it planned to issue a software update and was working on changes to its flight controls and training guidelines.

3) S. Sen Marco Rubio’s bill to make Daylight Saving Time year-round got a boost Monday from President Trump. Under Rubio’s Sunshine Protection Act, filed last week and co-sponsored by U.S. Sen. Rick Scott, Americans would set their clocks ahead one hour and keep them there, giving them an extra hour of sunlight in the evening during the winter months when DST usually ends.


4) Man Receives $38 Million Electric Bill: The NY Post claims a Queens, New York man recently got a $38 million ConEd bill. Tommy Stroud tweeted a picture of his bill along with the caption, “Hey @ConEdison: I own a 600 square foot apartment in Astoria, Qns. I do NOT own the entirety of Manhattan Island. THIS IS INSANE. FIX IT”

The electric company responded, “Our customer ops team is looking into it and we’ll definitely work on it and fix it.''

5) FUN FACT: Chuck E. Cheese was almost called Rick Rat's Pizza.  But their PR agency said the name would turn people off, because people don't want to think of rats when they're eating.​
