Tara Tucker-Forsyth County Emergency Services

I am nominating this individual for many reasons. Shes a single mother to two amazing kids...Skyler(22) and Savanna(17). She cares greatly for her communities shes been a volunteer since 2011 and goes above and beyond her call of duty. Always has her phone on no matter day or night and shes ready to help anyone in need. Spends a lot of her off time working on things that go very unnoticed that many don't see. Mainly improvements we need in our communities as far as the opioid epidemic and speaking at different meetings with different individuals including support to friends/family members of the opioid epidemic. She is the lead person for the Forsyth County Opioid Task Force. Shes also the founder of Camp HEAL which stands for (Helping everyone achieve Life, Love and Laughter) for kids who have been impacted by the opioid epidemic. Also she revamped the community paramedic program for Forsyth County and Designed the community paramedic paramedic program and wrote many grants to do this for Rockingham County. She is overall what every county needs as a first responder a caring lovable person who loves her job without a doubt. She spends countless hours away from her family even on off time. When she does get spare time which is rare she enjoys spending time with her family/friends and traveling.
