For all intents and purposes, Summer is finally here.  It’s starting to feel  like it, too!  Have you taken that first trip to the pool, the lake, or maybe even the beach? Eaten that first drippy ice cream cone that’s being melted by the heat faster than you can slurp it down? Have you gotten a sunburn yet this year?  For lots of us, especially those of us with very fair skin, at least one sunburn each summer is kind of a given. But, should it be? How dangerous is it, really, to get a burn from time to time. And, how can we best prevent sunburn and the skin damage that comes along with it? What about sunscreen, how do we pick the right one for ourselves and for our kids! Dr. Christine Ahn with Wake Forest Baptist Health has the answers to all your burning summer skincare questions.
