What I learned at the Greensboro Coliseum

When it comes to country concerts, it's more than the music...

It's one thing to download the latest Justin Moore album and listen to it in your headphones...it's another thing to experience Justin Moore in his natural habitat, in front of an electric crowd where the true artform is defined.  However, for me, concerts bring a whole lot more to me personally than the reverberation of guitars and drums in the Greensboro Coliseum.

This year I celebrate ten years on the air at 93.1 The Wolf - ten years of going to country concerts at the Greensboro Coliseum getting to hang out with you...and at every one of them, I've learned so much!  I've learned that the time we spend together is precious.  At each and every one of these concerts I learn more and more that you depend on me to do more than play music - but to pick you up on crappy days, to celebrate with you on the best days, and what's more, just be real in a world that's got a tendency to be anything but.

Look - I'm humbled that you consider me a part of your family for all of these years, and know that I don't take that role for granted...

The next few months are going to be incredible with tons of concerts coming through town - I can't wait to spend more time with ya, hug your neck, and thank you for letting me be a part of your family...
