Everyday I work HARD to bring you the five biggest things going on in the world (I use the term HARD, loosely), with "Five Things You Need To Know"!

Today is no exception.

For Tuesday, October 1st, 2019:

1. Would you try it?  Mayo flavored ice cream in Japan is a thing and it sells for $1.30.  That's a STRONG no from me!

2. Over to China we go where a woman wanted fresh air so she opened the door to make it "less stuffy".  Luckily the plane was only taxing down the runway so it returned and they had to reset and re-check everything.

3. I'm really happy this guy found what he was looking for...his fishing license.  Sklar is the guys name and he lost his iphone and fishing license back in 2018 when just a few weeks ago another guy found them in the water so he returned it to the guy.  Obviously the phone didn't work but his license was still good so he bought the man a case of beer!

4. Disney World opened today in 1971!

5. (Fun Fact). Marshmallows used to be made with a root of a plant called marsh mallow in the early 1800s.  They are no longer made of that but the name stuck.
