Willie Nelson will be back on the road in September, according to his publicist.

The singer, 86, will resume his tour on September 6. In addition to his own tour, Nelson will also appear at Farm Aid on September 21, along with John Mellencamp, Dave Matthews, Neil Young and Bonnie Raitt, reports Rolling Stone.

After a set in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday night, Willie Nelson took to Twitter to say he was canceling the remaining dates on his tour.

“To my fans, I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out,” wrote the Country icon. “I’ll be back. Love, Willie.”

Nelson suffers from emphysema and has been forced to cancel shows in the past, including one in 2018 where he also cited difficulty breathing. The singer also cancelled his appearance last summer at the Outlaw Music Festival due to illness.

Nelson released his latest album, Ride Me Back Home, in June and was scheduled to be on tour into November. Alison Krauss was set to open several of the over 30 shows remaining.
