Dolly Parton teases potential 'Playboy' photoshoot

Country legend says photoshoot contingent on being 'in good taste'

Dolly Parton might be ready to flaunt a birthday suit for her 75th.

The Country music legend told BBC Radio 5’s Scott Mills & Chris Stark Show she wants to pose for Playboy magazine to celebrate her bi-centennial. "I just might do it,” Dolly told the hosts. “If I can do it in good taste and they [Playboy] want it, we'll do it along with a really good interview inside."

Parton made her first Playboy cover appearance for the October 1978 issue. Dolly sported a classic bunny costume with ears and sexy necktie. It seems like the Country star is ready to relive those glory days. "So, yeah, it's possible. Yep, we've talked about it."

During an interview with 60 Minutes Austrilia earlier this year, the singer expressed no desire to call it quits on her music career. "I don't plan to retire. I just turned 74 and I plan to be on the cover of 'Playboy' magazine again. See I did 'Playboy' magazine years ago and I thought it’d be such a hoot if they'll go for it — I don't know if they will — if I could be on the cover again when I'm 75."

Country music’s queen is even extending her hustle to the silver screen. Dolly announced last week she will star and executive produce the Netflix musical holiday movie Christmas on the Square, due to stream November 22. She shared with fans a song by the same name off her latest Christmas album A Holly Dolly Christmas. It’s Dolly’s first Christmas album in 30 years, and releases to the public October 2.
